Company History
Indo Gulf Industries Limited (CIN: L74900DL1981PLC011425), formerly known as Indo Gulf Explosive Ltd., was established in 1981 by Dr. S.K. Garg, a distinguished scientist who played a pioneering role in developing manufacturing facilities for industrial explosives in India.
The company’s first mechanized plant was commissioned at Babina (Jhansi) in 1986 in collaboration with Gulf Oil Corporation, USA, for the production of slurry explosives used in the mining industry. This venture enabled the use of explosives for deep-hole blasting in large open cast mines across India.
Leadership & Expansion
In 2017, Indo Gulf Industries Limited was acquired by the present promoter Mr. Rajesh Jain, who brings over three decades of experience in the commercial and defence explosives sector.
Under his leadership, the company manufactures a range of products including slurry explosives, emulsion explosives, detonating fuse, PETN and cast boosters.
The company’s development initiatives were digitally inaugurated during the Groundbreaking Ceremony held in Lucknow on 29 July 2018.
